White onions are grown in desert regions. Since white onion production in Quebec is virtually nonexistent, this vegetable is usually imported. White onions are available in 10 units x 2.2 lb format, in a perforated plastic trays designed to extend shelf life and in 16 units x 3 lb available in a net with label packaging.
